Read on to find out how to make your Lite-On LVW-5002/5004 region Free. Please note that this information is only provided in the hope that it may be helpful to you. We will not be responsible in for any loss or damages as a result of trying these instructions on any DVD player/recorder.

1. Open DVD tray
2. Enter Setup using the DVD recorder's Remote
3. Move cursor to Exit (Don't press ENTER at this stage)
4. Enter numbers 2 9 6 0 with your remote. This will bring up region code menu
5. Select region or region free from the newly opened menu
6. Close tray
7. Switch off the DVD recorder. Wait for 15-30 seconds and then switch it back on - your DVD recorder is now Region Free!! |
